The Revd Canon Malcolm Emmel former Rector of Bedale, passed away peacefully at home with his family on the 3rd February following a long decline into old age and a short illness. The funeral of Thornton Watlass resident and devout worshipper at St Mary’s Church, Lawrence Jardin is to take place Saturday 1st August, 12.00 noon in St Mary’s Church.
